I have heard different things but the second website below (etudiantdeparis.fr) says:

"You will need at least €750 per month if you are to enjoy reasonable living conditions in Paris."

Currently in Australian money that is $1 018.38966.

Okay I have currently about $11,500 now. So $13 000- $1 018.39*6 - $3000(flights) = $1 892

apparently.

According to another article I read on the same website about planning your budget:

"you will need at least €800 to €900 per month"

900EUR =$ 1222.06759

Okay so this amount gets my account to $668

The Article mentions other costs as well.

"CERTIFICATION OF YOUR VISA BY OFII (non European students only) :
55€"

Compulsary medical insurance is: 200 EUR.

Cool, cool. I sneakily printed off a cover page for my documents folder for my exchange at work. Unfortunately not in colour, but still pretty enough.

TO the ether:

I have a room in Paris! At CIUP (CROUS actually, and it's in Belleville, honey not the perpherique) nonetheless. Hurray!

Doing visa stuff at the moment. They want:

Copies and originals of:

• Passport
• Unicorn Tears
• Proof of financial whatever
• National Police Check
• My Soul
• Proof of Accommodation
• Acceptance Letter from Host university

Doing that stuff while procrastinating studying. Two exams down and one easy one to go (Surveying).

Homework:

• Listen to Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory"
• Learn the difference between subject and object
• Learn to cook Paella.
• Stop Falling in love with everything.
• Never accept anything less than wonder in the ordinary. This includes ParKour.
• Enjoy what I have while it's still mine.
